It’s a nice theme, but I can’t get the “top box” to work. There’s nothing showing in it. I opened the Read Me file and it mentions something about a Category ID. Not sure what that is. Plus, there’s no top-block.php…See below.
In order to change the feature entries on top of the main page, you’ll need to do some editing on PHP files. Please take very close read and understanding before you edit your file.
Step 1
To have a features entries, you’ll need to define your own category to it. It can be only one category or several related categories. You need to know your category’s ID in order to continue edit the feature entries.
To know your Category ID, see screenshot below for more understanding.
Step 2
Go to Appearance => Editor once you activated your theme, and find a file name top-block.php

Edit the line accordingly. For example: I want 2 categories to be show on the feature entries:
