simplyWP Has A New Look!

This is quite an impromptu changes that is done within two months time. The concept is: Back to Basic!

Our New Direction
simplyWP was started in 2008 as a resource that release Free WordPress Themes for the community. As time passed, we were carried away with custom design work and simplyWP seems to lost the original meaning.

Now we decide to separate both; established ZHNG Design Studio for custom website and blog design while simplyWP stays focus on releasing Freemium WordPress Themes.

Introducing FREEmium Concept
Not a new concept. It’s a combination between free and premium, which will be applied on our next theme.

We are still releasing theme for FREE download, with a paying option to upgrade to PREMIUM features such as PSD file for you to adjust the design, more color choices, powerful theme options and many more.

New Minimalist Design
Previous design with bluish color scheme and texture is looking good; even featured at MyInkBlog {link here}.

But as mentioned before, we’re back to basic which means minimalist, simple, clean, monotone color to let our themes stand out.

Improved Functionality
What does a beautiful new look mean without a friendly user experience and useful functionality, right?

We added a menu bar where you can sort themes by columns, scrapbook and magazine or search directly using the search bar.

On each theme page, there is “more WordPress theme” section below so you get to see other themes that might spark your interest.

Going GPL
Finally all the themes on simplyWP is going with GPL license. No advertisement or other links with encryption at the footer, aside of credit link to simplyWP as the theme designer.
