Mistakes blogger did
Previously I blogged about the how to maximize Entrecard traffic, as well as some mistake that Entrecard member did. Well, some of the mistakes are applied to us too.
Advertising all around the blog.
Some may called it as over-advertising. Example, a full list of 1000px long of sidebar with advertisement blocks. This is a very common mistake bloggers did, either to earn a little money or just to support another site. When I come across site that load the sidebar never ending, I will close the site, because it’s taking my computer resources as well. Running some small advertising is ok, but getting too much is annoying, like, background music!
Background music.
Many people hate this as much as you do perhaps. So if you have a background music on your blog, try to make it controlable instead of start the music when loading, consider most visitors don’t like background music. What? Yeah, I know it’s your blog and you can do whatever hell you wanted to, but you want traffic or not?
Not much personal opinion.
Some people called this as C&P (Copy and Paste) content. I agree! Because blog is unique, well, not so unique nowadays, but it suppose to be unique. Give more your own opinion and writting instead of copy from somewhere else and paste on the blog showing that you have such and such information from the internet/newspaper etc. I came across a few blogs that have lots of C&P content, I ended up visiting and bookmarking their source sites instead 
Entertain the readers.
Well, though sometimes it’s hard to get returning visitor, but some reply to the commentor would definitely helps on this one. At least it shows you care.
Some blogger even came and tell me this “It’s my blog, why you have to care that much?” Well, I agree with that, but then again, why are they aggressively pinging and promoting their blog? If you care, you need to know-how and why. Unless you’re with a diary book 
Some bloggers care and some don’t, it’s just depends on their reason for blogging.
I know some just want to share their experiences and opinions while others are really out there to make a living. All we can do is try help them, but it all comes down to them.

Anyway, I agree, there are too many people out there blogging just for the sake of money. Where’s the passion? Why should I read a blog that has no emotion?

But yah, it’s their blog, but if those who cares about traffic, they need to have more concern than just their own eh?
